We use distilled water in our formulas to ensure maximum purity. With our formulas being water-based, our products wash out easily with just water (and sometimes a little shampoo).

This fine white clay is mined in Australia. It is very lightweight and increases hair elasticity, builds volume and texture, all while absorbing moisture to create a matte finish.

A wax produced from a small desert shrub native to Mexico. Used to create a strong hold that is very resilient to hot weather due to its high melting point.

A castor oil derivative that helps oil and water blend together (emollient). Its smooth, thick consistency helps to create an effortless scoop and application in the final product.

A mixture of fatty alcohols used to create a thick, creamy consistency for our formulas. Not to be confused with alcohols like ethanol, which can be damaging to the hair.

A luxurious butter extracted from the nut of the African shea tree. Highly moisturising for the hair and scalp, providing a smoothing and soothing effect.

A wonderfully light oil extracted from the seeds of grapes. It is moisturising, non-greasy and doesn't weigh down the hair. It has also proved beneficial for hair growth.

A compound that is developed from sorbitol, a sugar alcohol that can naturally be found in some fruits. It functions as an emulsifier, stabiliser and thickener - a real workhorse.

A by-product derived from sugar cane that is ethically and responsibly sourced. It helps to provide protection against micro-organisms in our formulas.

Combined with caprylyl glycol and sorbic acid, this preservative system offers broad-spectrum protection, while also being paraben-free and formaldehyde-free.

A synthetic polymer that is used to create a long-lasting hold. Although synthetic, it is certified as safe and is used in very small quantities to improve product performance.

A vitamin found naturally both in the body and in plant oils where it acts as an antioxidant to prevent the oxidation of oils.

Citric acid is derived from citrus fruits and is used to balance the pH levels in our formulas.
